Terms of service
PayTask is operated by Harry Ross, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Using this site means you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.
What PayTask does
You give us a task — a website URL, a document, some text. We run it through an AI model, sometimes after first fetching public information from a website you name. You see a genuine preview of the result for free. If you want the full result, you pay a one-off price shown up front. There is no subscription and no account.
What you can expect from the results
The output is generated by an AI model. It can be wrong. It can be confidently wrong. You should read anything we produce before you send, publish or act on it — particularly emails written to real people and technical reports about websites.
For website audits specifically: measurements are taken at a single moment from our servers. Things like server response time genuinely vary between measurements and between locations, so a slow reading may not represent a persistent problem. Structural findings (page weight, image sizes, broken links) are far more stable. Treat the report as a useful starting point, not a formal engineering assessment.
We don't guarantee any particular business outcome — no promise that an email gets a reply or that a fix increases your revenue.
Using it responsibly
When you use PayTask, you agree that you will not:
- use it to send unsolicited bulk messages in breach of the laws that apply to you — you are the sender of anything we help you write, and responsible for complying with rules like UK GDPR and PECR
- submit other people's personal data without a lawful basis for doing so
- use the audit tool against websites in a way intended to disrupt them, or at a volume that burdens them
- attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service
- use it for anything unlawful
We may refuse service or issue a refund and stop working with anyone using PayTask this way.
Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling before you pay, and include any tax where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never receive or store your card details. You pay once, per result. Occasionally we run promotions that make results free; when one applies, it's shown at checkout.
Because you see a real preview of the actual result before paying, you are asking us to begin supplying the digital content immediately. Our refund policy is deliberately more generous than the law requires — see Refund policy.
Your content and results
You keep ownership of what you submit. You get full rights to use the results we generate for you, commercially or otherwise. We store your inputs and results so we can deliver them to you — see Privacy policy.
Availability
PayTask is provided as-is. It's a small product run by one person, and it may occasionally be unavailable, slow, or change without notice. If you paid for something and we failed to deliver it, tell us and we'll refund you.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to PayTask is limited to the amount you paid us for the result in question. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protections of your local law.
